John Carpenter's scathing sci-fi critique of Reagan-era America, starring Roddy Piper, Keith David and Meg Foster, ultracapitalist interdimensional aliens, and the longest fight in film history over whether or not someone should start eating that trash can. Just download it. OBEY.
The 4k remaster looks great, clean as a whistle, reasonable grain management, excellent color, all you could wish for. The commentary track is also fun, although Roddy Piper sounds a bit out of it. As good as it gets, at least if you don't want an HDR "remaster".
