Hello World, film diretto da Tomohiko Itô, è un anime con protagonista Naomi Katagaki, un giovane liceale di Kyoto appassionato di lettura che un giorno incappa in un uomo apparso dal nulla in biblioteca che può vedere solo lui. L'uomo è lo stesso Naomi adulto, venuto dal futuro per compiere un'importante missione. Nel 2027 il governo giapponese preserva l'architettura e le bellezze naturali grazie all'impiego di alcuni droni, che archiviano tutti i dati raccolti in un macchina nota come Alltale. È grazie a questa tecnologia che il Naomi adulto è tornano indietro nel tempo di dieci anni per salvare la sua fidanzata, Ruri, da un incidente in un festival di fuochi d'artificio che l'ha mandata in coma. Il ragazzo accetta di aiutare il suo sé stesso del futuro e salvare la vita alla sua compagna di classe Ruri, grazie a un potere speciale che il Naomi del futuro gli ha donato e che gli permette di creare qualsiasi cosa dal nulla, purché la sua struttura chimica e fisica non sia eccessivamente complessa. Ma cambiare le sorti di Ruri che cambiamento porterà nel futuro? È davvero così semplice invertire i dati di Alltale?
Hello World, a film directed by Tomohiko Itô, is an anime starring Naomi Katagaki, a young high school student from Kyoto who is passionate about reading who one day runs into a man who appeared out of nowhere in the library who can only see him. The man is the adult Naomi himself, who came from the future to fulfill an important mission. In 2027 the Japanese government preserves the architecture and natural beauty thanks to the use of some drones, which store all the data collected in a machine known as Alltale. It is thanks to this technology that the adult Naomi is back in time ten years to save his fiancée, Ruri, from an accident at a fireworks festival that sent her into a coma. The boy agrees to help his future self and save the life of his classmate Ruri, thanks to a special power that the Naomi of the future has given him and which allows him to create anything from nothing, as long as its structure chemistry and physics is not overly complex. But what change will Ruri's fate bring in the future? Is it really that simple to reverse Alltale data?
